In today’s time it’s really popular to rap about being in the trap, participating in gang activities, and having a lot of money. It’s so easy to sell out when you have big dreams about getting rich and moving your family out the hood. What I like about Kafar, is that he remains true to his self. He would rather rap about his struggles and dreams. He also addresses real life political issues we all face as a whole. In his new song “Curtain Call” he spoke about the violence he see going on in his community, having sleepless night, giving faith to those that’s watching, overcoming the pain he once felt, and making things right. Check out the record below and spread the word about it.
